Margaux Khoury is a Canadian artist winning several school art competitions, her art teacher was always using her as an example of perfect composition, colour technique and confidence. She focuses on fun themes inspired by her childhood and her time in nature in both British Columbia and New Brunswick. Having studied in Santander, Spain and Paris, France, Margaux was inspired by the art found around every corner. She was deeply inspired and encouraged by Molly and Bruno Bobak who both became close family friends. She personally spent many hours in deep conversation at their house throughout the years that followed.  Margaux has been a guest lecturer at Harvard University, and talks constantly about the powerful ways that art positively impacts humanity. Her work was part of fundraising auctions at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, has been exhibited / purchased nationally and internationally, and can be found in private collections around the country.  Margaux often paints through her children’s eyes, and maintains an innocence in her work which translates to happiness and joy for the viewer.
