Anna-Maria Dickinson

Anna-Maria Dickinson a self-taught visual artist describes herself as a “Child of the Tropics” and a creative soul. She was born on the lovely island of St Vincent.

With many pieces of artwork you see in her collection, you glimpse the journey of her life filtered and infused with memory and nostalgia. A journey that began under the golden sun of the Caribbean, (inspiration for her island pieces which stems from her love of the colour, vibrancy and beauty of her culture and heritage), through the State of Virginia USA, then Ontario Canada and finally settling in the breathtaking landscape of New Brunswick. Anna-Maria's works are rich with enthusiasm and honesty, carefully generated from an eye for detail and an explosive use of the colour palette. Her pieces are in private collections throughout Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and the Caribbean.
